Health & Care Videos has worked with our partners Torbay & South Devon NHS Foundation Trust on many interesting projects including the ‘I Am Research’ series.
The project aims to encourage more people to take part in clinical research by giving real-life perspectives from participants explaining the reasons why they have taken part.
We created four videos entitled:
- What is it like to take part?
- Why should you take part?
- What are the benefits?
- What support will you get?
Through these videos, we hope to see:
- Increase in clinical trial participation
- Improvement in understanding of what is involved
- Raised awareness of trials in the UK
So far, the ‘I Am Research’ videos have had over 350 views online and are being shown in waiting areas within the hospital.
Want to use the videos in your area?
Any UK clinical research team can now use these videos for free, by accessing them through our newly crated Clinical Trials Digital Resource Hub. We have also shortened some of the longer interviews into big sized clips to make them easily shareable on social media.
